The E-Legend is a looker!
This is the promise of electric flexibility with the dream of retro done right.

Well done, Baku Peugeot!

It’s supposed to be reminiscent of the 504 coupé beside it.
I suppose so, slightly.

its got 504 “DNA”
*giant eye roll*

Oh man. That is the first (presumably) affordable new car I’ve liked the look on it a long time.

That’s cool. So cool that they’ll 1 ) Never build it, or 2 ) Build it and water it down.

I’m a huge fan but no way those tiny A pillars would ever make it remotely close to a production car.

You forget choice 3. Built it, no one buys it and it because a cult status vehicle.

Or four, build it, it’ll sell okay but North America won’t get it.

Agreed.

Peugeot do so me lovely concept cars: the Onyx was one of the most beautiful vehicles of all t ime IMHO. Pity that everything they’ve actually produced in the last 30 years or so is fugly .
![]() 10/11/2018 at 16:38 |

Actually this is clearly inspired by the much more common 505 Coupe
No wait the other one:

Pillars that could never make it into production.

Haha, yes this
![]() 10/11/2018 at 17:20 |

Shit name
It’s handsome but it’s a concept, it’s supposed to be. I’d like to see them build it as is
![]() 10/11/2018 at 17:41 |

Jeez, if it’s electric I hope they don’t water it down. That would be bad.

I mean they’re about as similar as a Mustang and an Accord Coupe...

Unfortunately it has frontward visibility which is not allowed now due to crash regulations. WHAT!!!!!! I’m not BITTER!!!!!!!!!

Gorgeous, too bad the pillars are too thin for production. I want it.

Actually this is probably the most accurate :(
![]() 10/12/2018 at 16:40 |

30 years? No way. They started building their ugly cars at the turn of the century.
![]() 10/13/2018 at 02:33 |

Actually that’s fair - they were making 205s for longer than I remembered. I’d say that was the last pretty Pug though.
![]() 10/13/2018 at 03:40 |

I own 2 of those :)
Anyway, I’d argue the 406 (especially the coupe) was the last pretty Peugeot. That was introduced in 1997 if I’m not mistaken. Ignoring the last-year facelift of the coupe that screwed up the design it was built until 2003.

I’ll give you “not ugly” on the 406. But for me it just loo ks “ generic” rather than actively good looking . The coupe’s better than the sedan, but that’s pretty much universally true.
